# Screenshots

> Capture and share visual context with agents.

## Overview

Commander includes built-in screenshot capture, letting you share visual context directly with agents and the manager without leaving the app.

## Capturing Screenshots

Use the global hotkey to trigger a capture overlay:

* Select a **region** by drawing a rectangle
* Capture a **window** or **full screen**
* The screenshot is immediately available to send

## Sending to Agents

After capturing, a send overlay appears letting you choose which agent or the manager to send the screenshot to:

* Screenshots appear in the conversation alongside your message
* Agents can reference the visual context when making decisions
* Add text annotations to explain what you're showing
* Preview attachments before sending with the attachment preview modal

## Screenshots Folder

Configure a screenshots folder in **Settings → General → Screenshots Folder**:

* Commander watches this folder for new screenshots
* New screenshots automatically appear in a strip below the message input
* Click to attach a screenshot to your next message
* Useful for sharing screenshots from other tools

## Screenshot Strip

Recent screenshots appear as thumbnails below the message input area. Click any thumbnail to attach it to your current message before sending.
